Server Update
Today our new software arrived as planned and was installed successfully on all of our computers. Our staff is currently still learning how to use the software, so our newly inserted graphics and webpages are going to be of a low quality, but since this site gets updated daily, our work will gradually get better. The completion of this page will surely get done by the end of this week and we have already planned enhancements on this site. We are sorry for the banners and the low bandwidth, but we are currently getting back on our feet and have concentrated on spending our money more towards software and our hardware. Look forward to great changes on this website!

IE5 Incompatibility
We received many emails complaining about the look of our site on Microsoft's new Internet Explorer 5 browser. This morning I took the time to go over the script and noticed that our site was missing some functions that allowed IE5 to read our tables correctly. I have fixed this problem and things seem to be working correctly now. Our site is now compatible with IE4, IE5, and Netscape Communicator 4. Sorry about the delay, but I've been busy this week.

More Upgrades!
I have ordered Adobe Photoshop 5 and Microsoft Frontpage 98 for this site. These programs are expected to arrive on Tuesday and we expect to have everything implemented by that Wednesday. The reason for these programs is because we need to keep this site updated with latest HTML and graphics, and our current software just doesn't cut it. This site will soon be running java scripts, CGI, and some server side includes; therefore, we encourage you to download IE5 to better experience our page.

Monday, March 15th, 1999

Server Errors
FSS was unable to relocate our server because of errors on our provider's systems. The error has denied us entry to the system; therefore, we are unable to get our services up like planned. We have now decided to go ahead and begin posting the completed services without the scripts and when the server gets fixed, all services will have a major update.

IE 5
Today Microsoft has released their new browser, Internet Explorer 5. This version is very quick and it fixes the many bugs in IE5 b2 and b1. If you did not have one of these versions, then I would still recommend the upgrade because of new Java features and the speed of page loading. If you'd like to download IE5, click here.

Monday, March 15th, 1999

Switching Servers
FSS has now registered space with a new company that provides more bandwidth and the ability to run CGI/SSI scripts. We chose this new server due to the fact that we want our users to have the best experiences with our new services, and we feel the best way to do that is to use CGI scripts. With this new update we also plan to bring a w3 Board online after we complete our promised services. This server change is scheduled for March 16th, 1999, 6:01pm EST.

New FSS Services
We are still currently working on all the services but we still have no planned date of completion. We have purchased new software for better graphic designs and page layouts. After we get response from our new host service, we plan on making a private update to all the services, including the new technology, before we make it public. Service Delay
FSS is now announing a minimum of at least a week for our serivces to be up. We are remaking every section and staff resources are limited, therefore production will be slower. Everything on the left bar should now be working but everything at the top is still under construction. We have to design many new scripts and many new logos so we hope you can bear with us while we finally bring this site back up. We are sorry for any inconviences this may have caused.

New Layout!
The new webpage layout is here! I spent much of yesterday getting this new layout finished but it is finally complete. The layout was made to be more eye pleasing and to make this site more user friendly. Our sections continue to be incomplete but we hope to get that resolved within the next couple of days.The expected date for the completion of this page is going to stay the same since FSS still has to bring up the projects we have promised you. We hope you enjoy the new layout!

The FSS Future
FSS has had a delayed update today due to the downtime on our servers. We are now back and running at full pace and we have inserted our first new logo to our page. I know it isn't much right now, but it was made in paintbrush and you will have to bare with it for now. We haven't put up in real news yet and our sections are still incomplete. Right now we are concerned on getting the new layout on our page and our new services in place before we post any news. We are expected to have everything completed by Monday, March 15th. We're sorry for the delay and we hope you continue to visit us daily.

We're Back!
This website is finally back after hypermart terminated our access and I was busted for hacking and some other charges. How lame, eh? Well the new FSS is going to have much more projects and I plan on bringing graphics to this page in the next week or so. For now, though, this is it and I hope you continue to enjoy what FSS offers.
